DiMS FAQ
General
What is DiMS?
DiMS is a web-based dialysis management system built for dialysis centers. It brings patient records, treatment planning, billing, inventory, reports, integrations and compliance workflows into one connected platform.
Why should a dialysis center use DiMS?
DiMS helps reduce paper records, repeated manual entry and disconnected spreadsheets. Teams can access updated patient, clinical, financial and operational information from one secure system.
Can DiMS support single and multi-center operations?
Yes. DiMS can be used by small centers and larger center groups that need centralized visibility across users, patients, billing, stock, reports and center activity.
Does DiMS include AI-Assist?
Yes. AI-Assist helps reduce administrative workload through patient onboarding support, review note assistance, OCR extraction from documents, and AI-powered summaries or referral letters.
Subscription & Onboarding
Which package should we start with?
Most new centers can begin with the standard DiMS package and upgrade as their requirements grow. The team can recommend the right setup after reviewing your center size and workflow.
How do we subscribe to DiMS?
You can request a demo or contact the DiMS team through the Contact page. The team will guide you through registration, setup and the next steps for your center.
What is the registration process?
After your enquiry, the DiMS team will confirm your center details, understand your workflow, prepare the system environment and guide users through onboarding.
Is user training included?
Training is provided through guided sessions such as Zoom walkthroughs, support channels, video materials and day-to-day assistance through the DiMS support process.
How long does implementation take?
Implementation timing depends on the number of centers, users, modules and data migration scope. A simple setup can move quickly, while larger groups may require staged rollout and validation.
Technical & Security
Do we need special hardware?
DiMS is browser-based, so most centers can use standard desktops, laptops or tablets with a modern browser and reliable internet connection.
Which browsers are supported?
DiMS is designed for modern web browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. For best results, keep browsers updated to the latest stable version.
Where is DiMS hosted?
DiMS hosting uses Malaysian data center infrastructure, including Exabytes facilities located in AIMS Data Center Kuala Lumpur and Suntech Cybercity Penang.
How is access controlled?
DiMS supports role-based access so users only see the functions they need, such as clinical, finance, purchasing, center management, provider or administrator access.
What happens if we stop using DiMS?
You can request an export of your data through the support team. Data handling will follow the applicable service agreement and privacy policy.
